Operations and Administrations Manager
Kristi Hannon serves as Operations and Administration Manager at New Horizons for Children, bringing more than 25 years of experience in technology, project management, nonprofit operations, finance, and organizational strategy. Since joining NHFC in 2014, she has worked across many areas of the organization, helping strengthen the systems, processes, and infrastructure that allow NHFC to serve vulnerable children and families effectively.
At NHFC, Kristi manages many of the operational systems and processes that support the organization’s day-to-day work. Her responsibilities span financial administration, donor data and gift processing, technology, reporting, and the systems that support fundraising and communications. She brings together data, technology, and strong organizational processes to help NHFC operate efficiently, strengthen donor engagement, and support sound decision-making.
Before beginning her nonprofit career, Kristi spent more than a decade in technology and project management, developing business, financial, and information systems for organizations including PNC Bank, Actium, Inc., Consol, Inc., and USX. Her work included software development, database systems, data analysis, business requirements, training, and implementing technology solutions to address complex organizational needs. That experience continues to shape her approach at NHFC, where she combines strong systems, thoughtful processes, accurate data, and careful stewardship to support greater mission impact.
Kristi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Grove City College and has also spent nearly two decades tutoring and mentoring students in mathematics. She enjoys helping people solve problems, develop their abilities, and grow in confidence, whether through education, ministry, or her professional work.
Kristi’s Christian faith is central to her life and her commitment to serving vulnerable children and families. She and her husband, Ed, have been married for 29 years and are the parents of five children. They attend Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Grove City, Pennsylvania, where Kristi is involved in college ministry and coordinates the church nursery. Her faith, family, and years of ministry involvement have deepened her conviction that every child is made in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and care.
Kristi believes strong organizations are built through faithful stewardship, thoughtful leadership, and continual improvement, and that these strengths can be used in service to God and others to create lasting impact for vulnerable children.
