The Problem

When bombs rain down on orphanages in eastern Ukraine, we often have just hours to evacuate vulnerable and orphaned children and potentially save their lives. 
 
When disaster strikes, your loving monthly gift makes sure that we are there to not only help evacuate the children to safety but provide them with a better life by placing them in a loving family where the horrors of war and isolation of institutional care become a distant memory.



Here's what your generosity can do each and every month:

1. Emergency Evacuations
Your generosity helps evacuate children from war zones in eastern Ukraine where their safety is in danger, and they have lost everything.

2. Provide Safe Shelter and Food
Your loving gift provides food, shelter, medical care, and trauma-informed training for their caregivers.

3. Find a Family 
Through the Hope House foster families program, your gift places children in safe and loving families surrounded by toys, siblings, and love.

  

Change Makers are a dedicated community of monthly donors who share our passion and commitment for the vulnerable and orphaned children of Ukraine. Together, we can keep more children safe, train more caregivers in trauma-informed care, and place more children in a loving family and home.

The giving categories listed here reflect New Horizons for Children’s current ministry efforts. Our policy is to apply all gifts given toward a specific program to that program. Occasionally, ministry needs change or we receive more contributions than can be wisely used toward a specific project — when that happens, we use these funds to meet other pressing needs that support our mission to share the love of God by improving the lives of vulnerable and orphaned children around the world.
