Former Board Chair
David Graham brings extensive legal, business, and nonprofit governance experience to New Horizons for Children, along with a longstanding personal connection to the organization. He and his wife, Ali, have hosted children through NHFC multiple times and are adoptive parents, giving David firsthand insight into the needs of vulnerable children and families.
Professionally, David is a seasoned public company legal and business executive with extensive experience advising senior financial, legal, and operational leaders. His work has included commercial real estate and construction law, lease and contract negotiation, legal operations, risk management, dispute resolution, and organizational leadership. Over the course of his career, he has led and supported thousands of complex lease transactions and major construction-related matters.
David is especially experienced in navigating complex projects, developing strong teams, and helping organizations make sound decisions across legal,
financial, operational, and risk-management considerations. He also brings experience in nonprofit governance and operations, adding an important perspective to his service with NHFC.
David and Ali’s years of involvement with New Horizons, including hosting and adoption, have given their family a personal connection to the children and families NHFC serves. David brings to the Board a combination of professional expertise, practical leadership, and a deep commitment to helping vulnerable children experience safety, stability, and family.
