Aaron Rothermel

Aaron Rothermel serves on the Board of New Horizons for Children with a deep commitment to helping children know the love of Jesus and experience the support of caring families, mentors, and communities. His passion for vulnerable children and families is reflected both in his service with NHFC and in his professional work.

Aaron currently serves as Minnesota Site Director for Together for Good, where he leads a network of volunteer host families providing short-term crisis and respite care for children and families in need. He oversees the organization’s Minnesota, Rochester, and Hudson sites and helps strengthen the relationships, volunteers, and systems that make this care possible.

Aaron brings more than a decade of leadership experience in church and nonprofit administration, along with experience in board governance, fundraising, volunteer development, and organizational leadership. Before joining Together for Good, he spent ten years in full-time pastoral ministry, most recently serving as Pastor for Children and Families at The North Church. In that role, he built and led volunteer teams, developed discipleship resources, and helped grow programs serving hundreds of children and families each week. He has also served as Board Chair of The Davenant Institute, helping guide the organization through a significant leadership transition and into its next season of growth.
